Lone Worker Emergency Response
Avantguard offer a lone worker emergency response service f or a variety of Sussex based companies and organisations. You provide your lone workers with emergency call devices to keep them safe and secure and we respond to calls from the call center if the emergency call device is activated.
Having already been to your office, factory or place of work and carried out a risk assessment, produced site instructions and discussed with you an appropriate plan of action, we are then equipped to deal with all issues quickly when we arrive at your premises. If there is a problem and a lone worker must make a distress call or perhaps a lone worker has been inactive for a predetermined period, the call center will ring our control room. We then dispatch one of our trained security response officers who are already mobile and on duty. All calls to our control room are recorded for audit purpose.
Checks can include:
- Searching a prearranged work area or route used by lone workers.
- Dealing with a medical emergency (calling the emergency services)
- Calling prearranged co-workers / managers to appraise the situation
- Waiting on site for emergency services / co-workers to arrive and take over
- Locking and securing the building if needed
Our GuardTools system monitors arrival and departure times and once our officer has dealt with the emergency, they will raise a report on the situation and all actions taken in line with the predetermined plan agreed with you.
Our average night response times for Sussex are between 20 and 30 minutes.
Standard hours of response are:
Monday to Friday: 1900 – 0700
Weekends and Bank Holidays: 24 Hours
